This really is a milestone! This year, Manuela "Manu" Fischer is celebrating her 25th anniversary at Feldmann. Our Head of Finance & Controlling and Human Resources began her career in a sports shop. But soon the proud Freiämter native was looking for a new challenge and applied for a job at Feldmann. The job interview - on a Sunday afternoon, no less - was unforgettable. "When I opened the door to the office, a man with frizzy, tousled hair was sitting at the very back. It was Peter Feldmann. I immediately took a liking to him. We had a very pleasant conversation and the chemistry was right from the start," recalls Manu. The very next day, they agreed to "give it a go together".
The experiment turned into a quarter of a century. In today's fast-paced world, this is absolutely unusual and not at all a matter of course. Where others feel the urge for a change of scenery after just a short time, Manu Feldmann remained faithful. "Of course, I also had the thought of experiencing something new a few times - but really only out of the thought that I should make a change". Fortunately, it never came to that. Because in all those years, monotony was a foreign concept. The tasks were exciting, the work was simply fun and there were always encounters with great people who accompanied Manu through her day-to-day work.
As mentioned at the beginning, Manu is from Freiamt. And she attaches particular importance to this. "Yes, I feel like a proud Freiämter native. This little detail is very important to me and always worth mentioning. I love the region with its beautiful recreational area, the good transport links that allow you to reach all the larger towns such as Lucerne, Zurich and Aarau in 30 minutes. There are numerous traditional and established companies here. The fact that we have comprehensive healthcare in Muri with the hospital is also a big plus. Manu is bubbling over with enthusiasm and you can tell how much she cares about the region and its people.
Manu, a person of the heart, has many facets. She is not only extremely emphatic and has a flair for numbers, but also for the finer things in life. Architecture, for example. One of her favourite projects is the exclusive "GOLDWAND" residential project in Ennetbaden. It stands for the architectural realisation of unadorned elegance and clarity of form. www.fmnn.ch/immobilien/ennetbaden-ag
"And of course I'm also looking forward to the realisation of our current projects in Lucerne and Weggis. This premium segment is fascinating and makes you dream," she adds.
Finally, a look into the crystal ball: what will Feldmann be doing in 2049? "I hope that Feldmann will still be developing customised properties in 25 years' time. And always in harmony with place and people. And what would be particularly nice - if we didn't have to deal with the authorities so much. J
Dear Manu, a big thank you for your tireless commitment and dedication to our company.
Here's to the next 25 years!
