The picturesque village of Gersau lies on the wind-protected southern slope of the Rigi, directly on Lake Lucerne. It owes the name "Riviera of Central Switzerland" to its mild, Mediterranean climate, where even sweet chestnuts and palm trees thrive. In the village centre (Poststrasse 5) and in the immediate vicinity of the lake, the "SEIDENWINKEL" property has been built with ten attractive, modern rental flats. The name "Seidenwinkel" (Silk Angle) has its origins in the Gersau silk industry and the fact that Poststrasse is very winding. All flats have their own washing tower (WM/T) and a cellar. The built-in lift allows for long-term and age-friendly living.
