"Deux Villes" embodies the idea of city villas, as free-standing representative apartment buildings in stately parks were called as early as the 19th century. The appearance is characterised by the square and synergetically designed floor plans and façades. The characteristic pitched roofing typologically reinforces the idea of the city villa. The two town villas are offset from each other in the park and are connected by a continuous roof. The driveway and the main entrance are centrally located, while the entrances at the back grant the residents a sense of intimacy. Due to Menziken's successful industrial history, there are already many villas in the town. With the "Deux Villes" project, the architects have succeeded in reflecting this tradition in the town centre and interpreting it in a contemporary way.
